Job Description :
The candidate’s daily activities will consist of and the candidate will be responsible for -
• Maintaining inventory at optimum levels by raising purchase request (PR) through different ERPs.
• Procurement of materials i.e. consumables, critical spares, standard repair, office supplies etc.
• Raising purchase request (PR) by Sending RFQ’s, analyzing vendor quotes, having techno-commercial discussion with vendors, technical confirmation from stakeholder, forming sourcing & negotiation strategy in coordination with suppliers
• Monitoring & maintaining Min./ Max/ Reorder level
• Vendor development & management
Desired Profile :
Required Skills / Requirements :
• Excellent English verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Windows/Word/Power point/Outlook
• Candidate to be familiar with statistical, and good in analytical skills
• Ability to cope with business related multiple complex situations on daily basis
• Exposure to purchasing process and related functions
• Open to work in shifts
Desired Skills :
• Negotiation skills (i.e. competitive bidding, volume leverage, cost breakdown, sourcing from low cost countries etc.) with involvement in regular procurement activities
• Knowledge of Inventory management, vendor management/development etc
• Experience in purchasing, supply chain, inventory control & related fields
• Knowledge of SAP MM module
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers (e.g. stakeholders & vendors) for smooth operational functions
